About Case Conversion

  • The Upper Case button transforms all the text you input into uppercase letters. Every character will be converted to its capitalized form, making the text ideal for headings, titles, or emphasis.
  • The lower case button changes all the characters in your text to lowercase letters. This is useful when you need to standardize text formatting or make your content consistent.
  • The Title Case button formats your text so that the first letter of each important word is capitalized. Common short words like prepositions, conjunctions, or articles (e.g., "and", "the", "in") are not capitalized unless they start the sentence.
  • The Sentence case button adjusts your text so that only the first letter of each sentence is capitalized. This helps in creating properly structured sentences. Please note that this option does not automatically capitalize proper nouns (such as names of people or places) and does not add missing punctuation. For more accurate formatting, consider using the normalization options below.
  • The Capitalized Case button capitalizes the first letter of every word in your text — including smaller words like "and", "the", and "in". This is useful when you want a consistent "every word starts with a capital letter" look across your text.
  • The Inverse Case button swaps the case of every character. Uppercase letters become lowercase and lowercase letters become uppercase. This can be helpful for playful formatting or for correcting text that was accidentally typed in the wrong case.
  • Normalized with Single Space automatically removes extra spaces between words and ensures there is exactly one space separating each word. This option is great for cleaning up pasted or messy text.
  • Normalized with Double Space goes a step further: it ensures there are two spaces between sentences while still maintaining a single space between words. This format is often preferred in formal writing or certain publishing standards.
